  David became CEO upon NGHC’s establishment in August 2021 bringing with him a track record of over 35 years of growing businesses and teams worldwide. His vision is to create a ground-breaking company at the forefront of global decarbonisation and a world class operation to accelerate the green hydrogen economy.

  Yako J. Wijnands
  Vice President – Operations

  Yako assumed his responsibilities as VP Operations in January 2022, bringing with him over 30 years’ global operations leadership experience in the industrial gases and energy industries. He is a strategic, influential, and inspiring leader with extensive global experience in facility management, operational excellence, and business development.

  Ana Munoz
  Chief Legal Officer

  Ana has over 20 years of legal experience, including a decade in the Middle East advising on large infrastructure projects and extensive work in the oil and gas sector. She aims to provide pragmatic, commercially sensible legal guidance, emphasising sustainability and compliance. Ana holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, with a strong legal standing in the United States.

  Zahid Hussain
  Chief Finance Officer

  With over 18 years in O&G and energy, Zahid is an experienced industry professional. His recent eight-year role at ACWA Power, including Director of Finance at Jazan IGCC, was instrumental in company growth. Zahid also served as CFO at Shuaibah IWPP and deputy CFO at Rabigh Electricity Company, ensuring financial prudence. Zahid holds degrees in Commerce, CPA, and CMA.

  Commercial Director

  Hamoud Al Mutairi is the Commercial Director at NGHC. An agile executive and passionate team player with over 23 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, Hamoud utilises his wealth of expertise in commercial development, projects, operations and risk management to ensure sustained operational excellence across all commercial activities.

  EHS&S Director

  Shaun specialises in EHS roles across various sectors and has a proven track record of safety, sustainability, and excellence. Shaun’s visionary approach drives diverse and inclusive teams, emphasising safety, well-being, and environmental sustainability. He holds key certifications and a successful career history with prominent companies, including KBR, WorleyParsons, Chevron, and Jazan Gas Projects Company.
