World’s Largest Green Hydrogen Plant Achieves 90% Overall Construction Completion Across All Sites

Construction of our green hydrogen plant continues to advance at pace, with NGHC achieving 90% overall construction completion across all sites. Our renewable power generation assets, including the wind garden, solar farm and transmission grid, have reached approximately 95% completion.

Located at Oxagon in NEOM, the project remains on schedule, with up to 4 GW of combined solar and wind power generation targeted for completion by mid-2026, followed by commissioning of the electrolysers and first green ammonia product availability planned for 2027.

Once operational, the facility will produce up to 600 tonnes per day of carbon-free hydrogen, converted into green ammonia for global export, providing a practical blueprint for green hydrogen at scale.

Watch the full update to see how NGHC is powering the world’s transition to a carbon-free future.
